  These are bits of plastic that has been broken to look like tile. A great thing to use with kids since there are no sharp pieces. They can be used just like tiles-- arrange them, glue them, grout them. They are transluscent so make sure you use a glue that will dry clear.

Glass blobs and shapes!
Life is all about different shapes, sizes, textures, and feels. So why limit your mosaic projects to just tiles? In fact, I prefer to call this craft multimedia collage!
Let me present you with all kinds of things that you can glue down. You can also embed these in soap, use them in a shadow box, put them on your table...... All of these are glass.

These are great when used as an focal point in a project, or all by themselves. The stars and moons are about 1" in diameter, about 1/2" tall. They come in either crystal clear or transparent royal blue. The ice cubes come in just clear and are squares that are about 3/4" in all dimensions. Great for putting over an image which would be magnified. Sold individually, $1.50 each
These designs are cut out of the same glass as the stained glass chips. They can be used as the center piece for a stepping stone or any mosaic project. Each image is composed of a number of pieces so that you could grout in between. For example the butterfly is made up of 11 pieces. Originally we envisioned these as being the perfect way to get younger children involved in mosaics because you get a great design without having to do a bunch of cutting. But after seeing the product, we realized that the designs are sophisticated to be used by adults as well. These are a wonderful starting point that you can design around.
